What Is the Unreached World for Jesus?
Since 2024, Unreached World for Jesus, a Christian organization, has existed to serve one purpose: to help reach the 43% of the global population who have little or no access to the gospel. Our calling is simple. We want to equip local believers in unreached regions with a clear, compelling, and easy-to-use tool: the God’s Story book.
This effort doesn’t replace traditional mission work, which continues to bear much fruit. Instead, the God’s Story book supports and extends the global mission of the Church, especially in areas where long-term missionary work is not possible or practical. We work with local churches that already have the passion and proximity to spread the Word.
By putting God’s Story into the hands of pastors, workers, and brothers and sisters already embedded in their communities, we can reach those who may never cross paths with a missionary. In just over six months, tens of thousands of this book have been printed, distributed, and read, with real testimonies of lives transformed by the Word of God.
Why the Unreached Still Matter
According to the Joshua Project, more than 3.5 billion people, roughly 43% of the global population, are considered unreached. That means entire villages, families, and language groups still have no meaningful access to the gospel. In many communities around the world, there are no churches or Bibles and no one to spread the word about Jesus and His love for us.
Jesus’ final command was clear:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” - Matthew 28:19–20
The Great Commission is the ongoing mission of the Church. And yet, many unreached regions remain untouched simply because there aren't enough resources or laborers on the ground.
That’s where Unreached World for Jesus comes in. We believe God is raising up believers within these nations to carry His message further. And we are here to equip them with the gospel of God through the God’s Story book.
What Is God’s Story?
God’s Story is a 16-page gospel book that presents the biblical message of God, the creation, sin, punishment, salvation in Jesus, and hope through a narrative approach. Jesus often taught in stories, and we follow His example by sharing the gospel in a way that resonates with the heart and challenges the worldview of the reader.
This book is designed specifically for unreached people: those who have never read the Bible or have never heard the name of Jesus. God’s Story is easy to translate and simple to share. And best of all, this book is effective in helping people grasp the core truth of the good God and what He has done through Jesus Christ.
We don’t send foreign missionaries to distribute it. Instead, we empower local pastors, churches, and our brothers and sisters in Christ to use it within their own communities, in their own language.
In places like Sri Lanka and Myanmar, tens of thousands of people have already encountered the gospel through this one tool, many for the very first time.
Here’s some food for thought: One God’s Story book costs about $0.50 to print. That means we can reach 10 souls for the cost of a cup of coffee.
The Need Is Global
There are over 7,000 languages spoken around the world today. However, only around 10% have a full Bible translation. In many unreached areas, even gospel resources in their heart language are scarce or nonexistent. Some languages don’t even have a written form, making traditional Bible translation nearly impossible.
7,000 spoken languages. 4,000 written languages. And only 770 full Bible translations. That’s 6,230 unreached languages.
That’s where God’s Story makes an impact.
At just 16 pages, it’s simple to translate, print, and share, even in remote regions. And because it can also be shared orally in a storytelling manner, it offers a unique opportunity to reach language groups without written systems. Local churches can adapt the message to fit their cultural context, ensuring it’s both biblically faithful and deeply personal.
