What Is God’s Story?

A simple, powerful tool to share the gospel

A Gospel Tool for the Unreached

God’s Story is a 16-page illustrated booklet designed to share the gospel clearly and cross-culturally, with a focus on story, not theology alone. It begins with God and ends with the hope of salvation, all in a format that’s easy to translate and read.

This book was created specifically for people who have never heard the name of Jesus, who have never opened a Bible, and who may come from belief systems that interpret truth differently.

Whether shared during house visits or left behind on a bus stop, God’s Story helps local believers explain the message of Jesus in a way that is truthful and powerful. In many places, it's the first time people truly understand who God is… and why Jesus came.

“We did not stop with one reading. We read it again and again—five times. Each time, the words touched our hearts in a new way. It felt as if God Himself was speaking to us through the book.”

– Testimony from Sri Lanka

The 6 Foundational Christian Messages Inside the Book

1) God: The All-Powerful, All-Knowing, and Ever-Present One

God is great, unique, and perfectly good. He is the all-powerful Creator who knows all things and is present everywhere. Every good thing flows from Him.

2) The Beginning: Everything Was Good!

God created the world in perfect order and beauty. Everything He made was good. He designed humanity to live in close relationship with Him and with one another.

3) The Rebellion: Humanity's Self-Centered Uprising

Humanity chose self over God, breaking trust and bringing sin into the world. At the heart of sin is self-centeredness. All people have sinned and turned away from God.

4) The Consequences of Rebellion

Sin has shattered the world. Pain, evil, suffering, and death are the result. Humanity is held captive by sin and stands under God’s righteous judgment.

5) The Solution: Hope in God's Goodness

God, in His mercy, provided a solution. Jesus came as the perfect sacrifice. He bore the punishment we deserved, died on the cross, and rose again, defeating sin and death.

6) The Salvation: God's Gift of Hope

God offers salvation to all who repent and trust in Him. This includes forgiveness, new life, the indwelling Holy Spirit, adoption into His family, and the promise of eternal life in His kingdom.

Where Is God’s Story Being Used?

God’s Story is already being used by pastors, evangelists, and local churches in Sri Lanka and Myanmar, with growing interest across the Bay of Bengal region. From urban centers to remote mountain villages, the booklet is opening new doors for people to accept Christ as their savior in places where the name of Jesus has rarely been heard.

As more translations are completed, the vision is to equip believers in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and other nearby nations where millions still live without access to the gospel in their own language.

“When I gave it (God’s Story) to a family in a remote village, they asked me to come back and explain more. They are now attending church regularly.”

God’s Story in Action:
Every Step of the Mission

Reaching the unreached takes more than just printing a booklet. Each stage of this mission is prayerfully designed to bring the gospel where it’s never been and to help new believers grow in faith once they’ve heard it. From the first presentation to full discipleship, here’s how God’s Story is being used to multiply His Kingdom:

Presentation

We begin by sharing the vision with churches and individuals who want to be part of reaching the unreached. Through presentations, we invite others to join the mission through prayer, giving, and support.

translation

God’s Story is then translated into the heart languages of those we’re trying to reach. These are careful, prayerful translations, in partnership with local believers, to ensure clarity and faithfulness to the core message.

printing

Once translated, the booklets are printed in-country at very low cost (around $0.50 per copy), allowing thousands of copies to be distributed affordably and quickly.

training

We train pastors and local church workers in mission countries. These sessions focus on how to use God’s Story effectively, how to follow up with those who respond, and how to disciple others using the tools provided.

mission work

Trained workers take the gospel into villages, tea estates, towns, and cities where Jesus has never been named. They share the message using God’s Story, often going door-to-door or gathering small groups to listen and learn.

God’s Story: Foundation

For those who respond to the gospel, we offer a simple 3-session follow-up study tool for local churches. It invites people into Scripture, helping them understand God’s story of salvation. This helps establish firm ground for new believers to grow.

God’s Story: Bible Study

Currently in development, this second study teaches how good our God is through the stories in the Bible. This study is for those who want to know God more deeply and understand His truth. It helps believers lay a firm foundation for a lifelong journey of faith.
